September 2010

Brits at the Shoals
Joe Wheeler State Park
Rogersville, Alabama

This was the 14th annual event hosted by the club. We had received invitations from club members when we met them at other events in Townsend, Maryville, etc. Charlie and Pat decided to check it out. They trailered their MG down there and it was rainy most of the way. That MG attracts rain clouds as it also rained, for a brief period, on the day of the event. Friday evening was a free buffet spread and an opportunity to meet with other like minded folks. Saturday was the show, a funkhana and an awards banquet. Sunday was breakfast and departure. A total of 51 cars were registered.

Joe Wheeler State Park is a beautiful facility for hosting the event with plenty of rooms, a good restaurant
and plenty of space for parking the cars and tow vehicles.

The prewar thru TF competition. There is one more TF hidden in the background. Total was 3 TFs, 3 TDs
and one 1930 M Type.

Did I mention the funkhana?

Second place in the "pre-war to TF" category

Crossville Cruise-In
Once again the PBCC of Tennessee participated in the monthly cruise-in. Granted, we weren't there in overwhelming numbers, but we were there on September 25th!
